Hey BFFs do you want to see Kellan Lutz’s chiseled six-pack up close and personal on the big screen? You might just get your wish if he gets his: Kellan wants to play the scantily-clad cartoon character He-Man, otherwise known as the Master of the Universe!
When HollywoodLife.com asked the Twilight Saga hunk which action hero he’d most like to play at Matt Leinart’s “Bowling With the Stars” event in LA July 15, he told us, “He-Man is good. I like He-Man!” The 25-year-old added, “I love the X-Men [too].”
But what bout the Hulk? The role is up for grabs now that Edward Norton has been ousted from the part against his will! Unfortunately, Kellan dismissed even the notion of auditioning for the role, saying emphatically, “Oh, I wouldn’t make a good Hulk.”

I certainly wouldn’t mind seeing him play one of my favorite childhood cartoon characters. (Face it, it has to be better than the one that was out already – that was just painful)

Kellan Thanks the fans for their unique merchandise Posted by Holly Filed Under Interview |

Jul. 08, 2010 |
The easiest questions oftentimes get the best responses, and that’s what happened when MTV News’ Josh Horowitz asked Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene and Jackson Rathbone what their favorite “Twilight” paraphernalia is.
“I have Jackson’s pillow,” Ashley said, before quickly adding, “Just kidding!” but things quickly spiraled downward after Kellan sadly admitted that Emmett doesn’t have an action figure.
“He should, he’s the biggest coolest character!” Ashley said to Kellan to cheer him up, but then she quickly said, “Aww, damn” as Jackson’s face fell. “Yeah, gave him coolest, that’s fine,” Jackson said with faux sadness. “Umm, what do you want me to call… You’re the sexiest,” Ashley remedied.
Instead of responding to the developing light-hearted feud developing, Kellan chose to actually answer the question Josh posed for them… sort of.
“Fans create quite unique merchandise,” Kellan said. “We do these fun conventions, and we get to meet these fans, and they always have like cool new stuff to sign or to show you, but then they also make stuff. I’ve been very blessed to have very sweet fans make dolls or draw and paint, and I draw a lot, so I know how much time goes into those, and they do an amazing job. It’s really cool, and it’s really humbling that someone would take that much time out to do that.”
He then did answer the original question, adding, “As far as merchandise, I guess… onesies. I saw a onesie thing, and then there are some female products with Rob’s face on it.”

Kellan Talks About Being Cuffed. Posted by Holly Filed Under Interview |

Jul. 08, 2010 |
Kellan Lutz has revealed how he was once handcuffed by a fan.
The Twilight heartthrob – who plays hunky vampire Emmett Cullen – found himself bound to a Twi-hard after an autograph signing and had to call security for help.
“I remember one fan, she asked for an autograph and asked if she could take me home, and I was like, ‘Yeah yeah yeah, what’s your name?’ – she yanks out, and you hear this ‘clink, clink, clink’, big old handcuffs; I was like, ‘Hey!’,” he recalled at the film’s press conference in London.
The 25-year-old, who reprises his role for Eclipse, the third instalment of the Twilight saga, has also been on the receiving end of more pleasing gestures.
“When I was doing the circuit for New Moon, another fan pulled out these fuzzy handcuffs and then she was like, ‘I have something for you’ – she undid her jacket and had some nice number on,” he said.
“I was like, ‘Hey!’ but it was really cute. And they are cute – there is no other way to explain this love that they have for this franchise.”
