Which ‘Breaking Dawn’ Scene Is Kellan Lutz Dying To See?
filed in Interview

Thanks to the debut of the “Breaking Dawn” trailer at this weekend’s MTV Movie Awards, we finally got our first celluloid sampling of the opening chapters of “The Twilight Saga”‘s epic finale. We’ve already picked out a few of our favorite moments (uh, headboard), but as it turns out, we haven’t even gotten a glimpse of star Kellan Lutz’s must-see scene.

When we caught up with the 26-year-old “Twilight” star on the red carpet Sunday evening, he dished on which take he’s champing at the bit to watch.

“I really had an amazing time shooting the arm-wrestling scene with Kristen,” he said. “It’s great seeing her take on the vampire character of Bella. Arm wrestling her and seeing her all brooding and [acting] tough, it was fun.”

Well, actually, it wasn’t all fun and games according to Kellan. “She hurt my arm,” he continued, joking. “I mean, gosh. She’s a strong girl.”

Love, Wedding, Marriage Review: A Simple, Cute Rom Com About Early Married Life
filed in Projects

How long does the honeymoon phase of a marriage last? Not long in Love, Wedding, Marriage, the romantic comedy starring Mandy Moore and Kellan Lutz.

The waters are tested immediately when Eva (Moore) finds out her parents (played by Jane Seymour and Josh Brolin) have separated, throwing her own new marriage to Charlie completely off balance.

Eva, much to the chagrin of her sister Shelby (Jessica Szohr), make it her mission to figure out what happened to her parents marriage and get them back together.

The film is filled with rom com cliches presented in the most overdone chick flick format. Mandy Moore is her usual cute self, playing the jilted daughter with just the right amount of naive awe at her parents demise, which doesn’t quite fit considering she’s a marriage counsellor. Lutz plays Charlie, a passive, undeveloped character with little depth — but he does take his shirt off a lot, do that makes up for it.

Szohr provides most of the chuckles in this film, playing the sarcastic and laid back Shelby — completely opposite of her uptight sister.

Directed by actor/director Dermon Mulroney, Love, Wedding, Marriage doesn’t try to be something it’s not. It’s not an artsy film, nor is it a film that would ever make anyone’s “best-of lists”, but it’s not trying to be. It’s honest and entertaining.

Isn’t that why we go see romantic comedies in the first place? To escape our own troubles for a couple hours and find solace and entertainment in another’s problems.
