NEW YORK (CBS) Feast your eyes on this gorgeous vampire! “Twilight: Eclipse” film stud Kellan Lutz bares it all for Men’s Health July/August issue …and offers some health advice while he’s at it.

Think his chiseled hard-work is just for sex appeal? Not so fast. Before Lutz’s abs epiphany, he “never knew abs were attractive.” But the excitement of school ground “hotties” quickly had him shirtless.

“When I took off my shirt, all the girls were, like, ‘Oh, look at your abs!’” he gushingly shares with Men’s Health. “And I was, like, ‘Yeah!’”

The 25-year-old actor also opens up about growing up in a huge Arizona family of eight kids with a divorced mother and the often finicky eating habits that come from such an upbringing. “With a big family and not a lot of money,” he said, “we ate whatever we got.”

Lutz shares the secrets of his workout success and body-building techniques with the magazine’s readers. Also, he offers words of warning to the dudes crazy enough to scarf down 10 tacos in one sitting.

“By the time I got to the eighth one, I’d feel so sick.”

OK, so tacos, a no go after “numero ocho.” But he offers this advice on keeping a six-pack like his and still enjoying the foods you love.

“Even if it’s pizza, I’ll eat with a fork and knife to slow down.”

VMAN has succumbed to the current vampire trend!  The latest issue of the magazine features five hot young actors, most of whom play bloodsucking undead creatures.  Eclipse’s Kellan Lutz (appropriately dressed by his employer, Calvin Klein) gets the cover  but inside the issue you can also feast your eyes on his co-star, Xavier Samuel and True Blood’s Ryan Kwanten.  No less tasty but not quite as bloodthirsty are Sex and the City 2’s Noah Mills (shirtless!) and Matthew Bomer from White Collar.
