The “Twilight” actor started out as a model, which perhaps prepared him for his hunky role as vampire Emmett Cullen.

“I’m very thankful for my modeling years because I had to do a topless basketball shot where I was just wearing basketball shorts aged 14 and it really prepares you. I’m a guy I don’t really care. I can run around naked. I felt very at ease,” Lutz told press.

The 26-year-old admits his education is in fashion and his focus is switching from the big screen to the runway – and he’s been out looking for new ideas and trends to add to his own line.

“I was in New York for Fashion Week just hanging out with my peers in the fashion world and looking at them for inspiration,” Kellan said.

As for what clothing item Lutz would like to see more of, he says turtlenecks. “I’m very much into that and then the big scoop necks—for guys and girls. I’d love to see girls in turtlenecks!”

Khloe Kardashian falls prey to a prank orchestrated by Miley Cyrus and Kelly Osbourne in a sneak peek of MTV’s Punk’d reboot.

Instead of featuring one host like the previous incarnation of the show, which starred Ashton Kutcher and his collection of trucker hats, the reboot is going to feature a variety of celebrity hosts. Justin Bieber already made headlines for playing a prank on poor Taylor Swift, and Dax Shepard and Kellan Lutz are also set to get their prank on when the show returns on March 19.

Kellan Lutz has revealed that he would love to take on more action roles.

The actor returned to the big screen last week with Immortals, in which he played Poseidon, in what was an action packed and physical role.

And it appears that Lutz has really taken to the action genre and would to take on more roles having had such a good experience on Immortals.

Speaking to Access Hollywood the actor said: “I love action movies. That’s really where I want to spearhead my career.

“We were doing the epic battle scene at the very end [of Immortals], a long five-minute fight, but I was grinning ear to ear! They were like, ‘Kellan you’re a God, you’re about to kick ass, you can’t be smiling so much’.

“I really had to work on not smiling. Then they would push in [for a close up] and would say, ‘Kellan, you are smiling with your eyes’ I was like, ‘What does that even mean?’”

Lutz is back on the big screen this week with The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 as he reprises the role of Emmett Cullen.

He also has a whole host of projects in the pipeline including Java Heat, Guardians of Luna and Bumped.

Moviegoers across the country stormed theaters this past weekend and sent the mythological blockbuster “Immortals” to the top of the box office, but only one lucky group of fans got a chance to see the film with Kellan Lutz, one of the stars of the film.

Fanny Rodriguez got just that when she won MTV’s “Immortals” sweepstakes. As the winner of the sweepstakes, Rodriguez got to throw a hometown screening of “Immortals” in her native San Diego with all of her friends and family in the audience.

The crowd was treated to a special appearance by Lutz, who plays Poseidon in the Tarsem Singh-directed epic, and the new Rogue3D glasses that were created by Marchon3D for the film’s release. The specs take a more fashion-minded approach to 3D glasses and look no different than a regular pair of Aviators.

Rodriguez says she never expected how much she would really experience with the sweepstakes.

“Never in my life had I met a celebrity with such a great personality, he is such a sweet heart. Words can’t explain how pleased I am with this whole experience,” she said. “I just couldn’t drop my big-o smile, from the moment I saw Kellan walking towards me to the very end of the movie.”

Lutz had left such an impression on Rodriguez that she even took to Twitter to thank the actor again, to which Lutz replied, “thank you! You guys were great to hang with!”

The stars of Twilight will be breaking into the music industry, sort of.

MTV News reported Peter Facinelli, Jackson Rathbone, Nikki Reed, Kellan Lutz and Elizabeth Reaser will hit five cities between November 7 and 11 to promote their new film, Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1.

They’ll be joined by Christina Perri for the first three days and Aqualung, Lucy Schwartz and Sleeping at Last for the final two legs of the tour. All of the artists can be heard on the upcoming movie’s soundtrack.

Tickets for the tour, which makes stops in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco and Salt Lake City, are free and will be available starting November 5 at 10 a.m.

Unfortunately, the movie’s biggest three stars won’t be joining their co-stars, but you’ll be able to see them in Los Angeles November 3.

Extra TV reported Rob Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will set their hand and footprints in Grauman’s Chinese Theatre concrete, a huge honor as only 250 stars have been asked to make their marks since the theatre started the tradition.

Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 hits theaters November 18.

The recent goss is that DWTS is desperately trying to ditch the D-lister reality stars and go all star-spangled on our asses.

But why the sudden snooty ‘tude from DWTS? When we caught up with Karina Smirnoff at the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Launch at The Beverly, the dancing vet gave us her input on why the mystery A-listers need to up the show’s game:

“I think it’s great that we’re getting more A-list,” said Karina. “I think we can outdo America’s Got Talent and The Voice.”

Lofty goals for a dancing show, Kare, you think? But since when are Snooki and Rob Kardashian A-list?

We can’t help but wonder which real A-list celeb would actually sign on to the reality show. But, supposedly, the series is willing to lax up a bit on the practices and schedule for high-profile celebs.

Still, these need to be celebs who barely pass the A-list on a good day to sign up for this hoofin’ stuff, no matter how classy the reality TV.

So, who’s the barely A-list star who’d sign his or her soul to the reality TV devil?

We-ell, Lindsay Lohan would be the typical one-time A-lister whose gone way down the alphabet, plus LiLo could distract herself from partying and make some moolah for therapy.

Of course, if you want a fan fave, Ellen DeGeneres would be a such a good pick. She loves the show but it’ll be hard luck getting a celeb of her status to sign on. So ya, good luck on that one.

And then there’s a Twilighters, sure to keep millions of Twi-hards tuned in. We’re thinking a sexy side-star like Kellan Lutz.

Demi Moore would be a great sexy older gal with an awesome career under her belt. The gal is still hot, not up to much lately, and always into the latest trends (Twitter obsessions, anyone?).

Lastly is our girl Mariah Carey. With those newborn twinsies, the songstress is pretty despo to lose the baby weight. And we all saw Kirstie Alley’s transformation, people.
