KELLAN Lutz might be one of the stars of 2009’s biggest film, Twilight Saga: New Moon — but the hunky star can just about afford to pay his rent!

According to a report in New York Post gossip column Page Six, the 24-year-old actor was paid so little to do the first Twilight film, he was barely able to cover his bills.

But Lutz — who has previously insisted his break in the vampire movie franchise isn’t “just about the money” — is now able to supplement his income with a string of lucrative modeling gigs and movie offers.

Lutz recently revealed he had his first kiss at the tender age of seven.

“I was playing truth or dare when I had my first kiss,” he said. “I was probably seven. I learned to hold the girl and I won as best kisser.

“They picked me because I actually held the girls when I kissed them. I loved kissing them because they had flavored lip glosses on, which was great.”

“New Moon” star Kellan Lutz probably shouldn’t sell himself short. A day before the opening of the “Twilight” sequel, hundreds of fans lined up in the New York City rain for a chance to snap a photo of the 24-year old actor. Still, Lutz is under no misapprehension about what — or rather who — really draws in the crowds.

“The rest of us, we could suck, probably,” Kellan told Zap2It.com. “It’s Rob and Kristen who have the amazing chemistry. Without those two keystones, ‘Twilight’ could have flopped. It really could have.”

No wonder then, that the fate of “Breaking Dawn,” the final installment in the vampire series — which could be split into two movies — rests on negotiations with Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewartand that jacked-up werewolf dude, Taylor Lautner.

“They haven’t told the rest of us actors yet,” Lutz told the site. “I have read that they are talking to Rob, Taylor and Kristen to negotiate to make ‘Dawn’ into two movies. I’d love for it to be two films.”

What of those wild rumors that “Twilight” will make its way from the big screen to your living room as a TV series? “I just heard that too,” he said. “I don’t know how. You already have the books, and the story’s been told so beautifully. And there’s already ‘True Blood’ and ‘Vampire Diaries,’ and they’re both great. I don’t know how it would work. Twenty-two episodes?”

So it’s a yes to two “Breaking Dawn” flicks and a “not gonna happen!” to a “Twilight” TV show. And where does Lutz go from there? He’s looking at romantic comedies and has a couple of action film roles in mind.

“I’m making this checklist as an actor,” he said. “Right now, I just really want to be part of the ‘Bourne’ franchise, and the more I say that, maybe Matt Damon will read it and maybe I can play his brother.”

He added, “I’d love to be Captain America someday.”

New Moon’s Kellan Lutz talks Twilight ‘Eclipse’, Robert Pattinson & More. Popsugar.com recently caught up to Kellan Lutz who plays Emmit Cullen in the Twilight,New Moon,and Eclipse movies. He gave away a few details about what his character will be doing in the upcoming “Twilight Saga: Eclipse” movie,and talked about Robert Pattinson and some of his other co-stars.

When they first caught up to him, he talked about helping out the “Salvation Army” with their Target program. He also talked about some of the other charities he’s involved with. He sounded like a great humanitarian.

Then he talked about his training routine,and working out with Peter Facinelli. He also talked a little about how Robert Pattinson worked out really hard for the film just like Taylor Lautner,accept Taylor had more time to train. Then Kellan talked a little about what his character will doing in “Eclipse.”

He said, that we’re going to see some interesting things from Emmit Cullen in “Eclipse.” They eventually got to talking about what he felt about Taylor Lautner hosting SNL (Saturday Night Live). He said he was very proud of him that he’ll do well. He concluded by thanking all his fans for voting for him to receive a shirtless award. Check it out in the clip,below.

While there, the star of the ‘The Twilight Saga’ movies did a little holiday shopping, picking up two doggie Santa suits for his dogs, an Optimus Prime Transformers deluxe figure and a Razor scooter!
